Monday Morning..

Ok as always i wrote this in English so you all can understand it

As many of you know i live in Mexico in Nuevo Leon a state what is close to US and the city, the capital is one of the most important in my country coz is very industrial. For years this was one of the most secure in all Mexico, and well its not common here the assaults with guns, all who live here dont know what to do in hard situations. Actually now its diferent and we have to learn how to act.

Today as all monday mornings i wake up to go at my job, i was very sleepy coz the last night i spend all the night talikng with my sis till late, then i woke up around 10 minutes late. Just when i was ready to take my breakfast and set out. Then me and my siblings listen something of that already here everybody is afraid. We heard many shots close of our house, the first we though "another execution" my brother told us dont go out wait some time, after he change the chanels to see what happend in the news. It only take few minutes to they announced  traffic director was killed just few street where i live. We all was in shock then..my sister said, sooner or later it would happend here we live close to police and traffic station.

Everyday drug traffickin its a worst situation for all Mexican ppl, coz its not only happed here in nuevo leon, this happend in all the country. 6 were killed in Mexico city..saturday night when i back home after spend some time with my friends the same in front of a popular market(Walmart), that night were 2, they were waiting for green light to advance. And is not only executions. Few days ago 8 persons were kidnapped, also 2 reporters , and 6 memebers of family, and nobody know something of them, if they still alive or not. Of the last six someone that i know was there of course run away far from there.

Its no easy for us see normal this! one person is dying everyday for trafficants and the only thing we can do is see. Our president says, we have to fight against drugs traffic and wait for results. but what the hell is he talking? if we see how the policemen are killed so easy! they are not secure!! 150 policeman stop with his work protesting, asking more pay and more secure for them. The trafficants have better arms than they. Many big corporations and many ppl in the police and politics are involved in drugs traffic. I dunno what think now. I dunno if this would be solved but know we only see and pray for not be in the wrong place in the wrong moment never.

But well maybe many ppl think this is only a problem of Mexican ppl but i dont think so..i think those who to drugs can help us..stoping of take them please. We cant make drugs legal but at least we can reduce  the consumption

More Sad News..Peter leaves Opeth

Peter Lindgren has stepped down from his guitar-wielding duties in OPETH after 16 years. His official statement on the matter reads as follows:

"It is with sadness I announce that OPETH and I are going separate ways after almost 16 years. The decision has been the toughest I've ever made but it is the right one to make at this point in my life.

"The reason behind this is that I feel that I simply have lost some of the enthusiasm and inspiration needed to participate in a band that has grown from a few guys playing the music we love to a worldwide industry. The love of music has always been, and still is, our motive, but I personally have lost something along the way. The massive amount of touring has taken its toll.

"OPETH has worked extremely hard to get where we are right now and in order to persist and maintain the quality of the music, it is necessary that we continue to work hard and always stay focused. But in doing so, it means that we nowadays spend 18 or 19 months on the road and I don't feel the same enthusiasm for the upcoming world tour that I have felt earlier. I have come to a point where I realize I won't be able to give the band 100%, and from both sides this will not be good enough for what OPETH stands for. I will always love playing, listening to, and living music, but I will do it differently from now on.

"These years has easily been the best of my life and I will always cherish the memory of what we have experienced together.

"I would like to thank the band, our management, record label people, all the bands I've made friends with for everything. Most of all, I would like to thank the fans from the depth of my heart for the support throughout the years.

'I wish Mikael, Martin, Per and Axe all the best and I am confident they will continue doing the greatest music in the world!!"

Fredrik Åkesson (ex-ARCH ENEMY, KRUX, TALISMAN) has been confirmed as the new guitarist in OPETH.

Says OPETH leader Mikael Åkerfeldt: "Well, I think it's too soon right now to fully be able to explain what I feel.

"Peter and I had been working in this band together for almost half of our lives and we shared some unforgettable experiences together all over the world. We will obviously remain friends and this 'break-up' has been on very good terms from both sides. We all wish him the best of luck with his future ventures!

"Fredrik was the only name that popped up thinking about a replacement for Peter. In my opinion he's one of the top three guitar players out of Sweden. We all get along great as we've known each other for maybe four years and he already has the experience to take on the circus-like lifestyle we lead as members of OPETH.

"I can't wait to see what he can bring to the table musically and also to get out on the roads touring together. His first gig will be at the Ilosaarirock festival [July 13-15 in Joensuu] in Finland. I'm sure he'll shit his pants before that one, but then again...so will I!"

OPETH recorded its November 9, 2006 concert at the Roundhouse in London, England for an upcoming DVD. The disc will contain the show (filmed in HD), band interviews, fan interviews as well as photo galleries. A fall release is expected.

The special-edition deluxe version of OPETH's "Ghost Reveries" CD was released on October 31 via Roadrunner Records. Bonus material on the set includes the band's cover of DEEP PURPLE's "Soldier of Fortune", a 40-minute documentary about the making of the record complete with the band's own private tour footage, the video for "The Grand Conjuration", liner notes, photos, an enhanced 24-page booklet, deluxe sleeve, and 5.1 surround exclusive mix of the record made by original mixed/engineer Jens Bogren.

Apocalyptica and Corey Taylor Toghether!!!!!!!!

Those are really good news for me!!!!! :D The new guest for Apocalyptica's new album is Corey :) i always admire his work out of Slipknot ... also they played again with Dave Lombardo..actually Lombardo is one of my favorites drummers ..and maybe new Ville Valo colaboration will be included in the album...

Right now i cant wait to see the new video..here the info:

Finnish cello-rockers APOCALYPTICA have just finished filming a video in Los Angeles with director Tony Petrossian (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, RISE AGAINST, SLIPKNOT) for the song "I'm Not Jesus". Making a guest appearance in the track and the clip is STONE SOUR/SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor.

"I'm Not Jesus" is expected to be included on APOCALYPTICA's new studio album, tentatively due in September/October.

APOCALYPTICA will support METALLICA on July 15 at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland. Also scheduled to appear are fellow Finns H.I.M.

APOCALYPTICA is a Finnish band consisting of three (formerly four) classically trained cellists and, since 2003, a drummer. Their speciality is metal music played on cellos (cello rock), though they also play classical music. They are all graduates of the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.

APOCALYPTICA's first album, 1996's "Plays Metallica by Four Cellos", consisted solely of METALLICA covers.

APOCALYPTICA released its double-DVD set, "The Life Burns Tour", in the U.S. on February 6.

SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo took part in a recording session with APOCALYPTICA last fall  during SLAYER's "Unholy Alliance" tour stop in Helsinki, Finland. The track is expected to appear on APOCALYPTICA's new album.

Lombardo's appearance on the new APOCALYPTICA CD will mark the third time he has played on an APOCALYPTICA album, having previously performed on 2003's "Reflections" and then again on 2005's "Apocalyptica".
